The purpose of this workshop is to develop an awareness of the diversity we encounter in the workplace today. One important part of this diversity is related to cultural diversity. Cultural training can be helpful and important in three distinct areas: Pre-departure for people going abroad, for members of an international organization to gain understanding of another culture and for adjustment after the arrival in the new country. The course can be customised to your organisation.
The benefit to the organisation is that it provides an understanding of how a person’s values, beliefs, behaviour and basic points of view may differ from one’s own cultural background. You will gain the skills to relate to other cultures effectively and with an ability to recognise that differences are simply differences. This not only enhances workplace productivity but also contributes to the organisation’s competitive advantage.
